What Makes a Good Logo

Logos today have to stand up in a variety of applications. They need to work on a large scale as well as small. A good communicator can achieve his goal in only a few words, and a well thought out logo often has the most impact with only a few lines, curves, and colors.

Color Palette

The Grove Green embodies a freshness and warmth. As a new member of the community, green was the perfect choice to symbolize newness of life. The hue is shifted slightly towards yellow. Yellow symbolizes friendliness, drawing parallels to the word “community” in their name.

Services

  • Branding

After just a few minutes, and some emails back and forth, we have a great logo that will be easy to brand, to use in other graphics, to print on publications, to screen print, and to do so much more with! It even enhances our previous logo (which we will still be using for our process of discipleship)! I would recommend Matt to ANYONE! He stuck with our original concept, asked all the right questions, and worked FAST.

About the Project

We were contacted by Pastor Andy from the Grove Community Church in Independence Oregon to help them actualize their vision of design. The logo focuses on being playing, joyful, and modern – all three things their community was hoping to capture in a logo.
